Beach House is set to tour Australia, Japan, much of Europe, as well as the States. Check out the band’s recent video for “Wild”, off the recently released full length album Boom,…
Beach House, The Very Best, Vampire Weekend live @ Hard Rock Cafe (Orlando, FL)
Purely spectacular and painfully beautiful are the music and lyrics that are delivered by Baltimore’s own Beach House. Last Monday night, Beach House took the audience on a musical journey through time and space at the Hard Rock Live in Orlando, Fla. With a simple and sophisticated set made up of three light reflecting pyramids and an intimate arrangement of instruments that brought the band to the edge of the stage, lead singer Victoria Legrand,…
New Beach House song – White Moon
Having toured extensively in 2009 and 2010 alongside Cat Power and Grizzly Bear in support of their latest album, the hypnotic “Teen Dream” released earlier this year, the dream pop duo of Beach House have proven gig after gig they’re just as remarkable and out worldly live as in the studio. Yesterday, the band released a brand new live EP called the iTunes Session EP recorded as a three piece which shows some solid reworks…

Download: Beach House @ Daytrotter Sessions
“Welcome to the magical world of Daytrotter! This is Beach House.” This how Victoria Legrand of Baltimore’s equally magical duo introduced the band’s Daytrotter set, in which they played Walk In The Park, Zebra, Take Care, Used To Be, all off Beach House’s recently released new album “Teen Dream.” You can download and stream the whole set bellow or, alternatively, on the Daytrotter website, where you’ll also be able to read a very well articulated…
New Beach House video: ‘Silver Soul’
Next week will see Beach House release one of our most anticipated releases of 2010, their third studio album, “Teen Dream”, via Sub-Pop. It’s an album I’ve been bugging everyone with for the past few weeks (seriously, I’ve been mistaken with the band’s PR on some occasions), with every chance I get. Today, it’s the duo’s latest video for Silver Soul, twhich was directed by the band’s frontwomen Victoria Legrand herself and features abstract lighting,…
The 15 Most Anticipated Releases of 2010
Hope you’ve all had one hell of a crazy, yet responsible, good time this New Year’s Eve – after all, it was the last party of the year, of the decade for that matter. Oh, and it’s been such a sweet year for music, filled with some incredible scores on all fronts, hasn’t it? Rest assure, though, if you’re feeling a bit disheartened about 2009’s passing, since, from the look of it, 2010 is going…
Download Beach House – ‘Norway’
Although Beach House’s new record, “Teen Dream”, is slated for a January 25th official release, last week the record leaked all over the web, and guys let me tell you it’s simply brilliant. It’s so deeply warm and sounds so very sincere, that it’s impossible to resist the record’s invitation to roll back and go to a place far, far away from it all. I swear the Baltimore duo is getting better and better with…
Grizzly Bear & Victoria Legrand stole Conan’s last night
Grizzly Bear were joined yesterday night by Beach House’s Victoria Legrand, with whom they also collaborated on the New Moon soundtrack, for an incredible performance at the end of Conan O’Brien’s The Tonight Show. A bit unexpectedly or not, the band played their smashing pop single “Two Weeks” Victoria handling the eerie backing vocals which simply sent a chill down everybody’s spine. Two Weeks is off Grizzly Bear’s most recent album Veckatimest out now.
Hot Streaming: Beach House – ‘Used to Be’
Back in February of this year, the Baltimore dream pop duo of Beach House released what is, currently, one of the most charming indie records of 2008, in the form of “Devotion.” Now, Beach House is back again with some interesting, new music, fresh from the studio and straight into ZME. “Used To Be” is the band’s latest single, which is joined a 4-track version of the debut’s “Apple Orchard” to form one awesome 7″,…
