A lot of The Cure related news this week, but who’s here to whine about it? After The Cure emo remix EP (featuring appearances from Jared Leto, Gerrard Way, Pete Wentz and other ‘super stars’) and the Perfect As Cats: a tribute to The Cure cover LP have been announced with great fuss, before the band’s latest upcoming thirteen record comes out on October, we’ve finally treated with some decent sampling from the new album. The LP’s first single is titled “The Perfect Boy” and it got officially released yesterday, along with its video.
The video is really plain, settled in a conventional The Cure atmosphere, shot in black and white, while the band plays in an enclosed room, much in the same way Sleep When I’m Dead clip evolves.
