Last year’s Oracular Spectacular was quite delicious, especially when on ‘shrooms, while MGMT‘s video for Time to Pretend could either scare you to hell or strip and start dancing on the melody. The band’s new video for “The Youth” isn’t by far as trippy as Time to Pretend, but it’s very fun nonetheless. Directed Eric Wareheim, from Adult Swim’s “Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!,” the video for “The Youth” features a few kids, ‘wrapped’ up in ’80s, stonner revivalist sorta clothes (let’s just call it MGMT fashion), circling around and lip syncing to the harmonizing lyrics.
