I really loved this year’s “Viva la Vida” by Coldplay, quite unexpectedly, actually. Lovers in Japan, the band’s latest single, is one of my favorite songs off new album, next to Lost and 42, thanks to its easy going, anthemic vibe. I’m really a sucker for these types of melodies. The video doesn’t come any shorter, either, with simple, colorful, visually stimulative frames, that makes the whole experience a lot more pleasant and relaxing. It also features some of those fancy marker writing on the screen thingies, just like in Kanye’s Good Life video.
