One of 2010’s best albums is without a doubt Deerhunter‘s Halcyon Digest, a record which excites senses and triggers soulful introspection. My favorite track off the LP is “Helicopter” and below you can see the visuals which transfigure the sound in the official video. It’s been out for two months now, but only after repeated viewing I’ve been able to slowly understand it, although I don’t want to pretend I’ve managed to grasp it, if there’s anything sensible about it in the first place. Beyond a stoned out of his mind Cox, you’ll be able to distinguish quick frames of disfigured forms, nature, people, cities and much more all intertwined fascinatingly together. Enjoy!
