Having undergone a label transition from Sub Pop to Brushfire Records, Bay Area indie rockers Rogue Wave will soon release their third record Asleep at Heaven’s Gate. One of album’s stand out track is ‘Lake Michigan’ a song that’s video premiered earlier today on Spinner, featuring the band no where near Lake Michigan, as some of you might thought, but in a quite the opposite environement, just outside Los Angeles. Playing in middle of nowhere, soaked by sprinklers, singing ‘get off my style’ is the video highlight, that didn’t sound very well, but just watch it. Asleep at Heaven’s Gate is out on 9/18, ’till then you listen to the whole thing down at the band’s myspace.
