If you’re into Animal Collective and college lo-fi jams, you’ll undoubtedly love Truman Peyote, a Massachusettes electro duo consisting of Eric Farber and Caleb Johannes. The two just recently released a very promising album titled “Light-Lightning” via Whitehaus Family Records, which has already sold out, so if you like what you hear, you’ll have to wait for the LP to come out. There seems to be a lot of bands popping up recently that are in the same sound spectra, and it’s not like I’m complaining or anything, but it sometimes feel like it gets diluted by all the rehash. If we’ll get to hear these bands 10 years from now or if it’s just a jump the bandwagon game, we’ll soon find out. Truman Peyote is smoking hot, nevertheless.
