Although Diry Projectors‘ latest release, titled “Bitte Orca“, is scheduled for a June 9th release, it unfortunately got leaked all over the Internet sometime around late March. Bummer. I’m not gonna lie here, I download it too. I just couldn’t wait anymore, so I immediately put it on my Blackberry the minute I heard it leaked and it’s been on repeat ever since.
Now, there’s no doubt in my mind when I say this is a truly stunning album. Definitely their break through LP, which will undoubtedly propell them towards a wider audience. If it’s a good or band thing, I don’t know yet, what’s certain is they deserve to get their music heard by as many people as possible.
This is why we should all do our part and not only download, but buy their new album as well. The 9 tracks LP will be available in CD, vynil and … cassette tape. Yup, cassette, fellows. So, head down to your basement, scrape through that pille of old mix tapes and dust off that tired cassette player. Ah, nostalgia…
