If you happen to hear the sounds of a million and three alternative fans whooping and hollering in delight over the next few months, it’s probably something to with the Nine Inch Nails/Jane’s Addiction/Street Sweeper tour that’s sweeping the globe this year. Which, surprisingly, we haven’t covered even once – feel free to slap us about the gums for that oversight, readers!

For example, we can tell you that in order to whet people’s appetites for the NIN tour – as mentioned, featuring a newly-reformed Jane’s Addiction, and Tom Morello’s new project, Street Sweeper – their collective website now offers a free downloadable EP, featuring two songs from each act.
Pleasantly, it’s available in a variety of forms, from your garden variety MP3, to lossless FLACS and MP4s, and even super-brain-melting WAVs, though you’ll need a torrent program for the higher-quality files. Go listen, serfs!
