The word came up when it was pointed out to [tag]Avril Lavigne[/tag] that at this stage of her career when she has struck gold and established herself as an artist she can do whatever she wants, musically or otherwise. She did say that “It’s good, I’m relieved,” and “My first record came out and it was really big, and then I basically said, ‘I’m set, now I have a career for the rest of my life.’ But when I’m writing my songs and making my records, I still have that feeling of, ‘This has to be good, this has to be good.’
She is never shy and has never hesitated when it came to making statements; she made striking fashion statements. Strangely she wouldn’t mind getting into the clothing business, either. Makes you think where the limits begin for a 22-year-old female rock star.
“But as far as different styles of music go, I never really know what I’m going to do until I’m working on the next record. I think it would be fun to do an acousticacoustic recordacoustic, or a Christmas record one time.” The acoustic record yes; a big yes. For an artist such as herself who has proven she has the voice and musical sense an acoustic record would be very nice. It would take her to the next stage. Les us pray for that.
