Next month the highly anticipated third installment in the Sheffield rockers’ catalog, “Humbug,” is due – as such, yet another blazing Arctic Monkeys tour is on the horizon. The album’s production was handled by QOTSA’s Josh Homme and Mobile Disco’s James Ford, and it seems to mark a departure from the Monkeys’ signature sound with which we’ve grown so fondly of. It’s a lot more psychedelic, more marsh and, above all, more adventurous. Yes, this will be very interesting. Check out the deliciously psychedelic first single off the album “Crying Lightning” right bellow.
