The [tag]Depeche Mode[/tag] frontman sophomore release, Hourglass, is fast approaching and as a teaser for things to come Dave has released yet another single. After the first melancholic synth infused single from Gahan’s new album, “Kingdom,” it’s time for a more thrilling track and “Deeper and Deeper” does well to lighten up the mood. It’s sound reminisces the golden years of Depeche Mode, same aggressive sampling and excellent synthesizers toped by what seems somewhat Dave Gahan explicit lyrics. (“I’m gonna have you when I want to/ I’m gonna take you, that’s what I like”). Boy these celebs. Listen to Kingdom and Deeper And Deeper at Dave Gahan’s official MySpace.
