Remarkably, the iconic heavy metal band Iron Maiden have reached their fifteenth full length studio effort, once with the upcoming release of the band’s latest installment “The Final Frontier” – only one month away! I’ve only found two songs on the web (‘El Dorado” and the title track), but from what I’ve briefly sampled and read elsewhere, it’s a classic Maiden album, true to the band’s earlier work. What’s interesting to note is that the new record will be the longest Maiden LP to date, spanning at 76 minutes and 35 seconds.
Below you can check it Iron Maiden’s incredible video for “Satellite 15… The Final Frontier”, an epic SciFi tale. The plot goes something like this – an astronaut and an alien (EDDIE!!!) are going head-to-head against each other to get their hands on a pyramidal relic and a special key hidden on a deserted planet. The production work and special effects were handled by Darkside Animation, who did and exquisite job, especially on the newly incarnated alien Eddie. The Final Frontier is out August 16 on EMI Record.
