“Nowhere Boy” is the most recent movie in the wave of deceased artist biopics that have been produced in the past few years – this time it’s all about John Lennon. This isn’t a movie that goes behind the curtains of his Beatles days, however. Instead, it’s a chronicle of childhood and troubled teenaged years that eventually shaped him into one of the world’s greatest songwriters to ever have lived.
The movie sounds very interesting, and it looks even more interesting judging from the trailer bellow, however I’ve yet to see any info on when it’s going to be released in the US. So far, it’s only screening in the UK. For more info and insights regarding the biopic, you should definitely turn to the Guardian review of the film. [IMDB]
