Yesterday was truly a sad day for people all around the world, when Dr. Albert Hofmann, better known as the father of LSD, died at the age of 102. Dr. Albert synthesised lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) in 1938 and became the first person in the world to experience a full-blown acid trip. A moment of silence for the man, who’s brain child, made possible works of art from the likes of Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Cream, Kyuss etc etc. See you on the dark side of the moon, Dr. Al!
