Exactly one month ago we were stoked to report the formation of one of the most awesome supergroups to see the light of day in years – a band comprised of none other than Led Zep’s John Paul Jones, Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl and Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme. Today, we’ve got a name for the three – The Crooked Vultures.

Looks like the band’s first show will be held at Chicago’s Metro this Sunday (August 9), according to this somewhat criptic ticket ad. There’s also a very official looking website, along with Twitter, MySpace, and Facebook pages. Looks pretty legit!
