We haven’t held a contest in a very, very long time, and yes, we know you’re probably feeling a bit neglected. That’s why, dear ZME reader, we’ve decided to organize this little competition for you – the first of many, as part of a regular series of contests we’ll be holding in the future.
This particular give away if a of a broader significance, however. This month ZME Music turns two years old and it’s only suitable for us to mark this occasion by give back a little something to those who offered us so much – you, the readers, who’ve made this blog what it is today.
Before continuing with the content’s details, we’d like to issue a big thank you to AMP3 PR, an awesome NYC PR firm, which was gracious enough to sponsor the event with quite a lot of merchandise. If you’re a talented artist and you’re looking for some quality exposure, besides e-mailing us, you should definitely consider their services.
Now, back to the contest. The give away is divided into three parts, one for each artist the contest is centered around, this means more prizes and a lot more chances of winning.
The three artists are Kim Cameron, the lead singer of alt rock ensemble Side FX Band, up and rising eclectic musician Dion Roy and alt rock power house group Taking Back Sunday.
To enter the chance of winning any of these awesome prizes (shown bellow), you’ll have to write up a very brief, ~30 words review of a song of your choice performed by any of the three artists, together with a 1 to 10 mark. Just post the review in the comments section at the end of this post AND for Kim Cameron and the Side FX band, you must also post the review on their “Graffiti Wall” (http://sidefxband.net/graffiti.asp), or their Amazon or iTunes profile. For Dion Roy, please also post your review on his Amazon or iTunes page, or in the comments section of his website at the bottom of the Music page (http://dionroy.com/music/).
If you want, you can choose to review a song from all three artists and thus you’ll get the chance of winning even more prizes. You can stream songs at the artists’ websites. Winners will be picked by ZME, according to the degree of objectivity of the reviews, so be careful with the bias. More details bellow:

Since this is an anniversary contest we couldn’t have gone on without throwing in something from our behalf. Let me cut to the chase – we’re giving away a slightly used 8GB iPod Touch.
