This week marks the controversial showdown between two of the most famous MCs in the industry [tag]50 Cent[/tag] and [tag]Kanye West[/tag], as both of their solo albums, “Curtis” and respectively “Graduation” are being released on the same day 9/11. A while back Fiddy sparked a psychological and marketing battle, between him and Kanye, when he promised to quit solo music if West outsells him on the release day. Amazon reports that Kanye is ahead of his contra candidate on pre-sales by 5 to 1, but the battle is far from over, tomorrow will be a crazy day in hip-hop. Also English hip-hop six piece [tag]Go! Team[/tag] release their sophomore record “Proof Of Youth“, [tag]Pinback [/tag] are back with their forth album “Autumn Of The Seraphs” and my personal favorites [tag]Animal Collective[/tag] officially release their eighth LP “Strawberry Jam.” A worthy mention is also Kenny Chesney‘s eleventh country studio album “Just Who I Am: Poets & Pirates“, a record which critiques and music savvy people say it will actually out sale both Curtis and Graduation, as hip hop physical records sales are on a big slump, while country sales have grown ever higher.
