Frankie Poullain from The Darkness was caught in a Chile airport carrying an apple, which he had traveled with. Apparently, this is quite a big deal for airport folks, so the guard there actually wanted to call the cops and give him a big fine – until he found out the guard’s a Lady Gaga fan. He then proceeded to do what any respectable musician would – bribe him with tickets. Apparently, that worked.
“Cops came and I faced a £160 fine – before I offered the clerk Gaga tickets.”
The Darkness are supporting Lady Gaga on her European tour.
