Just months after releasing his latest record, Memory Almost Full, ex-fab four Paul McCartney is making plans for a new album. New material has already been written in vast majority and actual recordings have also started, as detailed by Paul’s publicist: “Paul started recording last week, but he has been writing for a while. It should be ready by the summer.” Rumors have it, Paul’s working with producer Youth, famous for prodicing Guns N’ Roses’ long-delayed Chinese Democracy. Let’s just hope Paul’s new album doesn’t suffer any similar fate. God forbid!
Tommy Morello, current world class guitarist for the now reformed Rage Against The Machine, is also preparing a new album, his second, after he made his solo debut back in April 2008 in the form of One Man Revolution, under the moniker of The Nightwatchman. There’s currently no news on the status of Tommy’s sophomore album, for now titled “The Fabled City,” or any suggested release date, but it’s widely believed it will come out sometime by the end of the year.
