During a performance in St. Paul, Minn, Madonna told the crowd:
You know, I invited her onstage to sing with me. But, she turned me down. It’s OK. I’ve been rejected before. It builds a little character.
All I can say now, is that, I can really understand Lady Gaga, who wants to kiss an old lady on stage (if you don’t understand what I mean, try remembering the performance from VMA Music Awards, 2003), even if she’s a legend?
What I can’t figure out, is why Madonna asked Lady Gaga, I mean, she was the one that reacted like a 4 years old kid, when Gaga released her Born This Way video, accusing her for “redoing her song”, Express Yourself, in May this year.
I thought, this is a wonderful way to redo my song. I mean, I recognized the chord changes. I thought it was … interesting.
And if this wasn’t enough, she added during this performance, in St. Paul:
I have the best fans in the whole world. So take that, Lady Gaga!
This is hilarious, you have to admit it, and kind of reminds me of Gaga‘s response, on her twitter page, last month when she argued with the guys from Die Antwoord( if you don’t remember, check this out). I only wonder, how will Gaga react this time.
