I am sure that everybody heard about the Green Day’s problems, and how Billie crashed his guitar at iHeartRadio Music Festival, and everybody thought that his act was very punk-rock, but he was actually having some drug issues; and the fact that they canceled their concerts, etc, etc.
Well, great news everybody: Green Day is back on stage starting 28th March 2013, (they actually rescheduled their canceled tour ).In a recent statement, the band’s frontman, Billie Joe Armstrong, declares:
I just want to thank you all for the love and support you’ve shown for the past few months…
Believe me, it hasn’t gone unnoticed and I’m eternally grateful to have such an amazing set of friends and family. I’m getting better every day. So now, without further ado, the show must go on.
We want to thank everyone for hanging in with us for the last few months… We are very excited to hit the road and see all of you again, though we regret having to cancel more shows.
Even if I’m not really into this kind of music, this band is one that can really be admired, despite the problems they had, they worked very hard to compensate the bad things with good things, like releasing new albums: the ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, ¡Tré! trilogy; or videos like The Forgotten and Stray Heart; I’m telling you, this band really loves his fans.
