Soul musician José González (yes, he’s Swedish) has just posted a two new tracks off his upcoming second LP “In Our Nature”, set to be released in 25 September of 2007, on his myspace. I simply loved his debut LP, “Veneer”, his slow, whispery voice and classic guitar just hits my spot and I expect nothing less then a brilliant sequel from Jose. Right after his second release, Jose will embark on a US record…
Go! Team Go on tour
I don’t know about you guys, but [tag]Go! Team[/tag] are really one of my favorites indie bands, I mean ever since they put on “Thunder, Lightning, Strike” I’ve been mesmerized by their awesomeness ( I’m a drum freak, so the two drummer that are in the band simply make my day) and have been on repeat in my iPod for a long time ( now it’s QOTSA and Grizzly Bear’s turn). For all you US…
Deerhunter got mugged
Some sad news from [tag]Deerhunter[/tag], it seems frontman Bradford Cox and guitarist Lockett Pundt got mugged at gun point, in their own home town of Atlanta, right after a gig. Some cash and belongings were stolen, but nothing more then that, as the two weren’t hurt in any way and don’t seem very shocked from the whole experience. Bradford wrote a post on the band’s blog, in which he explains the whole event to his…

Caribou: ‘Melody Day’ video
Daniel Snaith is back with a new video of his upcoming ‘Andorra” LP, some old fans may know him as “Manitoba”, while listeners who just got into Daniel’s music will surely recognize him by his most recent adopted stage name [tag]Caribou[/tag]. Talking about the new album Daniel said: “I find it more exciting to look inside somebody’s imagination,” Dan offered. “That’s how I see this album, as being a window, and those kind of fictional…
Klaxons frontman broke his leg, band forced to cancel Aussie dates
[tag]Klaxons[/tag] frontman Jamie Reynolds broke his foot last night, at a gig in Angoulême, France’s Garden Nef Party festival, after performing a stage dive. He explains on the band’s MySpace that he “drastically misjudged” the 12 feet distance between the stage and the grass and dived with a higher velocity then he expected, leading to a fractured tibia bone and a three-inch plate holding it in place. Reynolds: “As per usual I jumped from the…

Franz Ferdinand tours homeland
Scottish indie rockers [tag]Franz Ferdinand[/tag] have finally strapet their boots and ready them selfs for a homeland cross-country tour, this fall. We haven’t seen too much of FF live this summer, being mist by many festivals, but their absence will come to good use, or at least I hope so, as they’re still working on their upcoming ’08 third LP. Franz Ferdinand have also taken thought on their Turkish and Icelandic fans, so as part…
New Liars video: ‘Plaster Casts of Everything’
Aussie three piece [tag]Liars[/tag] have just released their new video for “Plaster Casts of Everything’,part of their self-titled upcoming album. The video itself is rather strange, directed by indie experinced video maker Patrick Daughters; it depicts frontman Angus Andrew apparently gone berserk, speeding on a dirty road, with his face looking very disturbing, overlappsed 2-3 times symmetrically with the body of a woman (I think it’s [tag]Karen O[/tag], please tell me if I’m wrong). Half…
