Listen to Rilo Kiley’s ‘Under The Blacklight’

After we were endorsed with a few teasers from [tag]Rilo Kiley[/tag]’s new record Under The Blacklight, like The Moneymaker and Silver Lining, it’s now time for the real thing. The band has posted the whole album on their MySpace and is now available for streaming. I’ve listened to it a few times so far, and it’s a so so record, with a few great tracks (“Silver Lining”, “Dreamworld”), but some terrible ones as well (“Smoke…

Download: The Fiery Furnaces – ‘Navy Nurse’

[tag]The Fiery Furnaces[/tag] is a Brooklyn based indie rock band, consisted of two very talented siblings: Matthew and Eleanor Friedberge. A real great band which i’ve been digging for a while now, but which most people confuse it for a [tag]White Stripes[/tag] look-alike, because of the similar garage rock/blues sound and also because Jack and Meg White were considered brother and sister(they’re actually a divorced couple). That’s entirely not true, their a very solid and…

I figured you guys could enjoy a little mp3 love so here’s “Black Like Me”, from one of my favorite indie bands [tag]Spoon[/tag]. The track’s off their latest and best album Ga Ga Ga, an…
